Afro Adventure Junkies is your passport to luxury travel with culture at the core. We curate elite international group trips and craft personalized vacations that deliver unforgettable vibes for Black and Brown travelers. Whether you’re hopping on one of our hosted escapes or letting us plan your dream baecation, every detail is handled—so you can stay booked and unbothered.

Travel insurance is only included with international bookings. Day trips and domestic overnight trips are not eligible for insurance.

Invoices must be paid within three (3) days of the monthly due date. After that, unpaid invoices will be canceled and your spot released—no exceptions.

Are trips refundable?

• Day Trips & Domestic Overnight Trips: These are nonrefundable.
   
• International Trips: All international experiences are offered travel insurance after booking through Allianz. Any eligible refunds will be processed directly through your travel insurance claim. If you opt out of insurance, your trip is non refundable.
   

Note: A $200 deposit is nonrefundable on all international trips, even with travel insurance.

Travel deposits are  non-refundable because they serve as a commitment from both the traveler and the agent. 

Here’s why:

1. Securing Reservations: Agents use deposits to lock in flights, hotels, activities, or other services that may have strict cancellation policies. These suppliers often require upfront payments.

2. Time and Effort: Travel agents invest time in planning, researching, and booking trips. A non-refundable deposit ensures they’re compensated for their work, even if the traveler cancels.

3. Supplier Policies: Many vendors, such as airlines and hotels, have their own non-refundable terms. Agents have to follow these policies when reserving on behalf of clients.

4. Limited Availability: Travel prices fluctuate, and space can be limited. Deposits help secure rates and availability before prices rise.

5. Commitment Assurance: Non-refundable deposits minimize last-minute cancellations and ensure travelers are serious about their plans.

In short, it protects both the agent’s work and the reservations made on your behalf. Afro Adventure Junkies also has a non-refundable policy for domestic overnight trips for similar reasons.
