Afro Adventure Junkies curates unique day trips, domestic overnight trips, and international experiences that celebrate culture and support Black-owned businesses. Our trips offer unforgettable experiences with like-minded adventurers.

Are the trips refundable?

• Day Trips: All day trips are nonrefundable.

• Domestic Overnight Trips: All domestic overnight trips are nonrefundable.

• International Trips: All international trips include travel insurance through Allianz, and any eligible refunds will be processed through Allianz travel insurance.

Is travel insurance available for day trips or domestic overnight trips?

Day trips and domestic overnight trips are not eligible for travel insurance.

How long do I have to pay my invoice?

Invoices must be paid within three (3) days of receipt. After this grace period, unpaid invoices will be automatically canceled, and your spot will be forfeited.

Travel deposits are  non-refundable because they serve as a commitment from both the traveler and the agent. 

Here’s why:

1. Securing Reservations: Agents use deposits to lock in flights, hotels, activities, or other services that may have strict cancellation policies. These suppliers often require upfront payments.

2. Time and Effort: Travel agents invest time in planning, researching, and booking trips. A non-refundable deposit ensures they’re compensated for their work, even if the traveler cancels.

3. Supplier Policies: Many vendors, such as airlines and hotels, have their own non-refundable terms. Agents have to follow these policies when reserving on behalf of clients.

4. Limited Availability: Travel prices fluctuate, and space can be limited. Deposits help secure rates and availability before prices rise.

5. Commitment Assurance: Non-refundable deposits minimize last-minute cancellations and ensure travelers are serious about their plans.
